No.12661

Hey new here, a friend of mine recommended me this chan because he said that there is a strong cyberpunk comunity here, I've read a bit in the faq that it is all related to an anime, is it mandatory to watch it to enjoy the place and if so, where do you recommend me watching it?

pic unrelated

I want to say that it's not required to watch SEL to use Lainchan effectively, and it's really not, but you should.

I did a few months after using the site and there's a lot of loose references to the show made that you probably won't understand otherwise.

Fortunately, SEL is short and pretty good, so it won't take but a few hours to watch the entire thing.

Welcome! we're rather slow, but we're extra fun!

>I've read a bit in the faq that it is all related to an anime

Hard to say...

>Is it mandatory to watch it to enjoy the place?

I watched Lain a bit after lurking on Lainchan, watching it gives LC a boost, but it's not "required reading"

>where do you recommend me watching it?

In a dark bedroom with an older model television, preferably using a VHS player. You can also watch it via DVD, you'll get the same aesthetic. PC kinda ruins the vibe imho.
