Where is the GS instance on Lainchan, are you planning to install this software using the new Twitter clone (Qvitter) version?

This is a good idea, other boards added this service.

How much expensive is the service??????????

Not expensive because GNU Social is a federation of instances (distributed and connected servers). I can start in any moment your own instance, here a partial list http://www.fediverse.org/

The right name would be https://social.lainchan.org

Why not use the tokumei?

https://tokumei.co/
Is free as Freedom.

What do you mean where is ?

Why should lainchan run a GNU social instance ?

How is this supposed to augment the existing services ?

Looking into the path to implementation further, it looks like the existing docker implementation is soykaf (e.g. the configuration of the docker container isn't what the author actually runs on their site), and I would have to rewrite a new dockerfike and docker-compose file that either played with the existing containers or was entirely self contained.

>Why not use the tokumei?

Because it is written in plan9 shell e.g. rc, and that makes it difficult to maintain.

GNU Social is better for freedom, a federated instance, if a server is down you can continue to work, the idea is to open soon a Lainchan-style instance with the same contents by users, without admins.

Tukumei is really different compared to GNU Social, but you could have more services:
