I disagree. Most people who don't read and/or aren't really intellectually predisposed are going to read it literally and won't understand anything other than the first intention of it.

One of my favorites book for sure. I love how it reads differently as you gradually grow older. I'm trying to read it in French now to keep my language skills sharp

As someone who begrudgingly did the school readings, re-read this one. It's really short (you can finish it in well under an hour), and you get a lot out of it.

It's a really unique book and I really think you'll enjoy it. But again, you don't need to do it, just a friendly suggestion
