I think it was half a week.
Looked like a zombie in the end of it. Not joking. When people from the outside world saw me after this and before sleeping they said I looked like a fucking ghost.

Not the best experience for someone to have unless you want to hallucinate in a bad way.

  No.168

96 hours, almost exactly. To be fair, this was when I was 11, so it was before my body needed as much sleep as it does now.

cool story, bro

  No.177

I once went about 68 hours with no sleep, and as I was on my way to a meeting (senior design) I saw my face reflected in a window next to an anti drug add (drugs?! not in our town!). I looked worse than the supposed meth user on the add so I turned around and just went straight to bed.

Around 78 hours, probably a few less.

This was a year ago so I cannot remember much. All I recall is that when I decided I should sleep I just laid down on my bed and closed my eyes and woke up the next day almost instantaneously. Usually I feel like there's an in between part when I sleep. I am not sure if any of that made sense.

178 here, I felt relaxed and somewhat very peaceful before falling asleep. I wouldn't say I felt terrible.

i had that a few times, too. even after normal days. i remember this one time i was looking forward to something very much as a kid, went to bed around 10 pm, and couldn't fall asleep for hours, and then this one time i blinked, and suddenly the sun was up. i was watching the window in the same pose as before blinking, and it was weird

  No.213

40-50 hours, I studied all night once and then caffinated myself stupidly at around 4pm which kept me up that night also. Went to bed at like 5pm that day.

  No.1153

Over 40 hours and this happened a few times. After a while it actually gets harder to fall asleep but you're not really 100%... it's the wake/sleep equivalent of being "undead". Unawake.

My uncle worked on ships and he was once required to be active for over 80 hours. If there is no one to relieve you at your post then you just have to stay awake and it's not debatable.

I had the same thing, it was weird. I even remember sitting up right while it happened.

3 days, but i'm not sure i wasn't sleeping though, because night went really fast usually, but i did not really feel like i was falling asleep or something, and when morning started i felt very tired.
Can stress be the reason of insomnia?

I've been looking for Beksinski's paintings in high res but couldn't find any.

Sage for off topic.

I've never heard of other people having it, but this is something that I experienced once myself. I was kind of sitting up in my bed and it felt like I blinked and it was morning. It's actually kind of cool, much better than laying awake for hours.

  No.1168

>>1159

I've had that happen on a few occasions, usually when I'm very tired and in a particularly comfortable bed.

Longest I've ever gone without sleep is probably somewhere around 20hrs at max. I just can't do it.

  No.1169

I'm a regular insomniac, but I never went more than 36 hours. My regular pattern is something like 3-4 hrs per night with weekend recuperation periods.

  No.1177

Not for that long honestly, although I've often gone a few days on at most 3h of constant sleep, with a few hours there and there during it. Once innna woods when I tried LARP for my first (and only time) and I seriously started to wonder if would get frostbite - and for long periods of time when I was a kid during summers, spend entire day on the beach and the entire night soykaf drinking on /tg/.

probably 30 hours, tops. I always make sure to get some sleep, even if it isn't the regular 8 hours. Even so, there are days when I'm too energetic to fall asleep.

>eyes felt really fuarrrking dry

I can relate to that, even with a mundane uptime of 14h. It's shit and nothing I tried to remedy this worked.

What I experience that doesn't real when sleep deprivation kicks in is mostly visual, especially in semi-lit environments.
Needless to say I stumble down stairs a lot in that state, brain's playing tricks on me where the stairs end and where walls start.

wow,
i spent 3 hours reading that. that was insane. what an experience.

I did never skip more than one night. But there was this one time when I skipped one night and was extra tired due to other circumstances. Want me to describe that?

72 Hours during my high school years.

  No.2458

About 60 hours or so. I snorted a big fat line of methylphenidate (do not do this) with no tolerance. I didn't feel the need to sleep at all on the first night. On the second I felt shitty, but I remained awake. I finally slept on the third.

  No.2463

I once said I'll stay up all night to catch the tooth fairy as a kid and so I did but I was talking to my parents around 36 hours in and I ask them "Why isn't the superbowl on tv?" and they said "What do you mean? It was yesterday." And I was like "What?" because I went to sleep a day before the superbowl but for some reason I don't recall falling asleep or waking up during that time and it really fucks with me even today.

  No.2468

Something like maybe 40-50 hours. I end up going through phases of complete lack of focus to decent focus. Not experienced haulucinations but there is a very particular shift of perception which as far as I know comes from an adrenaline effect.

It fucks with my sleep patterns but they are always fucked regardless so I can deal with that.

  No.2543

I've never gone more than 36 hours straight, but I once managed about 4 hours over a week. Plenty of hallucinations by the last day, mostly auditory though I can't say for sure if it was the lack of sleep or the drugs that were keeping me awake

I'm a bit of a pussy so only roughly over 24 hours, and the only reason that was because it was my first time on class A drugs.

Day to day I actually get good amounts of sleep like a good boy, the only weird part is when I get that sleep, usually going to bed frequently at 5am if I'm off uni, or sometimes there as well.

One time, about three days, give or take an hour or so. I can't remember the third day very well, but my family tells me that I came over and hung out. I slept for a week straight after, I only get about 3 hours a night now, breddy good conditioning.

  No.3338

I was awake for 3-4 days.
But not without drugs.

Almost 4 days. Was on a military operation. Do not recommend not sleeping for that long, it fuarrrks with your head.
